Moving Forward Together

The San Juan Community Home Trust is making significant progress toward expanding affordable housing in Friday Harbor, with updates on the Argyle and HolliWalk projects and strengthened partnerships with local leaders. With plans for 40 new homes, upcoming public hearings, and community-driven initiatives like solar-powered housing, the Home Trust continues its mission to keep homes permanently affordable.

LEADERSHIP TRANSITION

In the context of great leaps forward with two important projects, we want to share that – after several meaningful and productive years as the Home Trust’s executive director – Amanda Lynn has made the difficult decision to pursue her personal goals off the Island.

The Board has named Paul Fischburg, its current president, to step in as interim executive director. Amanda’s plan to continue working temporarily with Paul will bring stability and continuity – and will allow a seamless transition. Read more on the Journal:

HOLLIWALK IS UNLOCKED!

Thanks to your constant support, we have been able to reach a settlement agreement with the Town of Friday Harbor that will allow HolliWalk to exist under the community land trust model.
